Absolutely delicious. I was at the kids bounce place a couple doors down and searched for tacos. I saw the google page and decided to give it a shot. I’m so glad I did. The carnitas and steak tacos were phenomenal. Salsa verde was perfect and my new favorite, cooked onions were done perfectly. I got a hibiscus drink from the fountain that topped the meal off to a perfect experience. I’ll absolutely be back whenever I’m in the area.

What an awesome place to eat dinner. The food was amazing and the staff were really helpful and nice. The cashier recommended the Huaraches and most of the family tried it and we all loved it. The tacos were really flavorful. The roasted salsa was to die for and their homemade tortilla chips were thick!! My favorite item of the night was the street corn. It was sooooo goooood!!!!! You must swing by and eat at this local Taqueria. Don’t mess with the big chain restaurants. Come and get some of Reyna’s recipes that will definitely leave you feeling satisfied!!

Today’s Special on THURSDAYS! Oh my gosh. Go. They are still open. Suadera Tacos made with delicious brisket, (the perfect mix of fat and crispy goodness) and a crunchy slaw with red and green cabbage, carrots, red onion and tiny slivers of fresh jalapeños and cilantro all “tidy like” on a blue corn tortilla. Family owned and run. Mamma’s in the kitchen. If you SADLY miss it today~Saturday is TAMALE DAY! Until they sell out….. Don’t dress fancy. T-shirts and shorts will do. You order at the counter and they bring out your piping hot food. Like any great place to dine should

Amazing!!! I've lived in Sarasota for years and am absolutely floored I hadn't heard of this place before. Met the owner (Jino; hope I'm pronouncing that correctly) and he set me up with a ridiculous medley of amazing and "authentic" Mexican food. Seriously, I tried about half there menu in one go; and I assure you it was all good! Seriously, this place is legit. Not sure of the name but the blue corn tortilla taco with brisket was on a whole different solar system. I also tried the birra and steak tacos which were great. Although, please do yourself a favor and try the one I mentioned, give it a squeeze of lime and a bit of their green sauce. I can assure you you'll make up your mind that this place is your only Mexican food joint in Sarasota, from that bite onward.

Wow, this places looks very unassuming on the outside, in part, due to the large "Taqueria" sign that obscures the small "Reyna's" sign in front of the strip mall, BUT...wow, the tacos are absolutely fantastic. 👍🏽 Between my husband and myself, we've eaten plenty of tacos in cities around the U.S. (like the Mission District in San Francisco, S. Florida, Salt Lake) and in Mexico, but this is one of the best places we've enjoyed in a looong time. We both ordered 3 different tacos to go with our birria plates. For me the stand out was the brisket taco--holy moly! So incredibly tender. But the other two--pork with pineapple and beef birria were also mouth-wateringly tasty. Even the grilled onions were made with care and cooked just right, along with the fresh tortillas and delicious salsa (roasted) and chips (homemade). Also, really refreshing horchata (and thankfully, not overly sweet like some other places). Highly recommend!
